The Melancholy of Winter

I made this for a contest...I hadn't made any jewelry in like a week and a half. I read the contest description in my email the day before it was due...and the idea suddenly came to me. I had to use 2 techniques [out of a list], so I used wirework and stringing. So there's the story behind them. I love this pair of earrings, I don't think I can part with them. The title is probably the best part of them.
